For 25 years, the Omaha area has been home to Chad, whose three decades in the construction and restoration industry culminate in his leadership as General Manager of BELFOR Property Restoration of Omaha. Chad has proudly served as GM for 8 of the 13 years BELFOR Omaha has been dedicated to restoring properties and lives in our community.

As an experienced Estimator and Project Manager, Chad brings profound expertise to mitigating, securing, and restoring properties after a wide range of emergencies including fire, storm, vehicle impact, and flood. His certifications include HAAG Roofing Inspector, IICRC WRT & FSRT, alongside Xactimate proficiency and ASHE ICRA 2.0 training. Chad’s career is built on a foundation of successfully owning and managing businesses in the restoration, remodeling, and home building sectors, always with a steadfast commitment to fostering growth through effective team and process management for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Though he’s been with BELFOR Property Restoration of Omaha for two years (and an Omaha resident for seven), Doug Dekker’s true calling as Director of Emergency Services is a natural extension of his almost 40-year career as a dedicated first responder. His background as a police officer, firefighter, and paramedic provides an unparalleled foundation for understanding the immediate and critical needs of those facing property emergencies.

Doug is often the first face from our company that homeowners and property owners see after a devastating event. Whether it’s a fire, a vehicle impact, or severe water damage, his role is to secure the scene and, more importantly, to ensure victims are taken care of and supported from their “worst day” as they begin their journey toward recovery and a “new normal.” Doug’s mission is to offer comprehensive assistance, providing a steady hand and clear path forward during incredibly challenging times.
