Jacksonville Beach, FL – July 29, 2019 – In support of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF), 1-800-BOARDUP announced their fundraising commitment with their annual “Big Dog Challenge” golf event. Raising thousands of dollars every year for the NFFF, 1-800-BOARDUP stresses the importance of remembering our heroes who sacrifice their lives every day.
“Consistently fundraising for the NFFF is incredibly important and meaningful for our entire team,” says George Godfrey, President of 1-800-BOARDUP. “Their values align with ours and we want our entire network to support them across the country, starting with our headline event, the Big Dog Challenge.”
1-800-BOARDUP has been an unwavering partner for the NFFF since 2017. The team was inspired to not only think about the Home Office, but also the entire national network of 1-800-BOARDUP. “So many of the 1-800-BOARDUP offices do a fundraiser for us every year,” says Chief Ron Siarnicki, Executive Director of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. “We are grateful to have them as a partner.”
The Big Dog Challenge will be held at Top Golf in Atlanta on Wednesday, August 7, at 6 pm. Dozens of teams are invited to participate in driving competitions and all money raised will go to the NFFF.
