About Michael Hosto

Michael Hosto is the founder of 1-800-BOARDUP, Inc. and is based in Jacksonville, Fla.  He currently serves as the Director of Culture and Leadership, which reflects his passion and focus on 1-800-BOARDUP’s culture to attract and retain high performance individuals who also share the company’s mission and values.  Michael is a veteran of the disaster recovery industry and an RIA Certified Restorer.  He began his career in the late 1980s as a damage estimator and project manager, and then worked for a large international disaster recovery organization based in Washington, D.C.  Michael later owned a restoration company based out of St. Louis. Michael was the first 1-800-BOARDUP Local Service Partner before selling his local operation to focus on the national expansion of the 1-800-BOARDUP network.
