Jim Harmes is the Director of Recruiting for 1-800-BOARDUP.  He joined our team in 2014 after spending over 42 years in the Fire Department.  The majority of those years were spent in the Grand Blanc (MI) Fire Department near Flint as its Fire Chief.  Chief Harmes served as President of the International Association of Fire Chiefs in 2006-2007.  He has his BA and MA from Siena Heights University and a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program.  Jim looks forward working to find great candidates for 1-800-BOARDUP.
